Halacha Quiz ("we", "us", "the app") turns study material into interactive quizzes. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using geulaquiz.com you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

• Study material you upload. When you upload a PDF or paste text, we process its contents to generate quiz questions. Uploaded files and generated quizzes are stored so the app can serve them back to you.
• Quiz and game data. Player names you enter, scores, answers, and leaderboard standings are stored to run the game and display results.
• Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the app is used (pages viewed, general device and location information). This data is aggregated and not used to personally identify you.
• Technical data. Standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) are processed by our hosting and network providers to keep the service secure and reliable.

How we use your information

• To generate quizzes from the material you provide.
• To run quiz sessions, track scores, and show leaderboards.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the app.

Third-party services

To provide the app we rely on a small number of trusted providers:

• Anthropic (Claude API). Text from your uploaded material is sent to Anthropic to generate quiz questions. Anthropic processes it under their own terms and does not use API inputs to train their models.
• Google Analytics — usage measurement.
• Railway — application hosting and storage.
• Cloudflare — DNS, content delivery, and security.

Data retention

Uploaded material, generated quizzes, and session data are retained for as long as they are needed to operate the app. You can ask us to delete content you created by contacting us at the address below.

Cookies

The app uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the app will still work.

Children's privacy

Halacha Quiz is an educational tool intended for general study use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the player name a participant chooses to enter for a quiz.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
